I'm sitting in my family room with my mom, the phone rings.
"I got it," I said in blissful obliviousness of what is going to be said to me.
I look at the caller ID, it says "Mercy Memorial Hospital"
I answered the phone, curious of what a hospital could be calling my house about.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Hi, who is this?" said a voice that had been dampened and scarred.
"Jordan," I responded.
"Jordan...could you give the phone to your mother?" said the voice. It was my grandmother.
I handed the phone to my mother, she looked at me with tears beading up in her eyes.
Nothing is really that sad to me until I see other people sad. I walked into the room that
we were appointed to. I looked around the curtain and there was my uncle, lying therepale as I've ever seen anyone. And my grandmother, the person I loved more than anyone, rocking back and forth next to his bed weeping, I went to go comfort her.
"I'm so sorry, grandma."
"Sorry, look, he's sleeping, he's just sleeping," she lied.
I looked at her.
"Wake him up Jordan, please, wake him up."
At that moment I realized how precious life really is.
Minutes passed, I couldn't even look into the room with out having to pull away, even my little brother was trying to understand the level of emotion my grandmother was portraying. She loved him so much, he was her brother, it was too much for her.
Several family members visited. My uncle Jeff, trying to stay strong for his mom. but when my grandfather came into the room and looked upon all of us, mourning, none of us saying anything, but we all knew what eachother was thinking. All of us, just bowing our heads in sorrow, but my grandfather just looked at us, with his weathered face, and fell into a slow mix of weeping and wincing. The look in his in his eyes made me almost breakdown, so hopeless, there was nothing I could do. There was nothing any of us could do. Pity.
Every time one of his limbs would fall off the bed a little bit, my grandmother would tuck
it back under his blue hosital sheets, saying, "cover yourself up Jamie, cover yourself up, here, I got it, don't worry, I don't want you to be cold when you wake up."
Never take your loved ones for granted, because if you don't you're going to wish you did.

This MIAC report specifically describes supporters of presidential candidates Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin, and Bob Barr as militia influenced terrorists and instructs the Missouri police to be on the lookout for supporters displaying bumper stickers and other paraphernalia associated with the Constitutional, Campaign for Liberty, and Libertarian parties.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.
I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate.
All those moments will be lost in time, like.. tears in rain.
Time to die.

When I think about liberty now, I think about Ron Paul.
Let alone the fact that he was the only republican congressman that opposed the War on Terror.
